At home there are several games that you can play with Music Flashcards to help your child know and understand the musical concepts. First there is a simple matching game. All you need to do is make two copies of each card, then place them all face down on the floor. Your child will enjoy matching them up, just as they have done with all sorts of card games since they were a small child. Make sure they are naming the musical symbols as they go, and that way they’ll concrete the knowledge in their brain. You can also have students learn musical terms with flashcards by having quizzes in the car. You can get flashcards that have the italian term on the front, and its meaning on the back. These are great for these quizzes, and the student who is preparing for a music exam needs to go through these over and over.

Lots of people know that the BMI is full of crap.  It’s because doctors are lazy and they would rather input your height and weight into a simple calculation than get an accurate bodyfat reading.  Even for non-athletes or low bone density individuals, the BMI just doesn’t cut it.  Do you really think an accurate statistical measurement would be something as simple as weight over height squared?

The accuracy of the BMI aside, imagine if you could lower your BMI by increasing your height(or your wingspan, hand size, foot size) instead of just decreasing your weight.  That would really show up those doctors huh?

You can increase short and irregular bone size(hand, feet, and spinal bones) via periosteal width and possibly cortical bone area.  You can grow long bones by stretching them via methods such as lateral synovial joint loading.  You can increase intervertebral disc space and articular cartilage space by supplements such as glucosamine and via bone marrow stem cells that are released via microfractures.  Read more at how to grow taller.
