As busy people, we are entitled to have ridden everyday. Sometimes, even if you just dont want to pay an ample sum of money, you discover that you have to beat work schedule. In such case, the taxis serve as our best friends.
Whether we are just riding a taxi for fun, for simple travel or for beating crazy appointment, we must have concern on our safety inside the taxi. Its important to look for the condition of the car. Definitely, a well-kept car and driver will mean a comfortable ride. Of course, we must always fasten the seatbelt and observe all no-smoking and food/drink rules and signs around. If we get to hail a cab and it smells, is dirty, or the driver looks questionable, simply say Sorry, Ill have to take the next one, and move on. Lastly, we should make sure to speak loudly and clearly when communicating directions and information to the cab driver.
If you happen to be new to the place, or have just recently tried backpacking europe or any other place, then, be wary of riding cabs, especially late at night.
